The Filos Quartet was formed in 2008 by four people who have known each other independently for a number of years through either playing or studying together.

As the Greek translation of our name suggests, we are four close friends and have a strong passion for all genres of music. And we hope that you like our music too.

In recital, we play pieces who not only challenge us but pieces which are also close to our hearts for whatever reason. Our last recital was in June 2011 and was our fourth performance at the National Theatre, London. IThe audience reactions have been very welcoming thereand a big thanks to all you loyal fans who regularly attend our series there. The venue ask us to perform there on a regular basis now following audience and stafdf feedback so thank you all so much. Details of our next performance will be posted here closer to the time.

At our concerts we always raise money for chairties, mainly the Anthony Nolan Trust and the Multiple Scleoris Society. To date, you have managed to contribute over £1000 for charity which has be doubled by the generousity of Bupa.
